Types of scamming

In this page I will show you different types of scamming. If you are new to Animal jam then this can help you recognize scamming so you don't get scammed. Let's begin:

1. The "Send me I send back" scam. This scam is perhaps the most common scam in Animal Jam. Here is an example: A jammer in Jamaa Township says Send me a rare and a send back another rare. Once you send them they will run away
2. The "item double scam". This scam isn't very common but still some people do it once in a while. Here is an example: A jammer in Coral Canyons says Come to my den I can double your items. You come his den and he says send me the item you like to double and I will send it back. Say you had a friend on Animal Jam for about 3 years. She was your BFF on AJ. Then 1 day she says, "Could I borrow your worn please?" You reply "Why?" She say's "I just want to try it on, could I just borrow it for a day, I am your BFF you know." "Okay you say" You send her the worn. "She says I got to go I will return it tomorrow ok?" The next day she unbuddies you and never returns the worn.
3. The "make me look silly" scam. This scam is not so common but sometimes people do it. Here is an example: A jammer in Crystal Sands says " Send me stuff to make me look silly, I will return them after people think I am silly" The person will probably run away with your "silly items"
4. The AJHQ scam. Say you get a random buddy request from some on named AJHQworker. The person comes up to you and says "Hi I am from AJHQ, may I borrow that rare you have, that item is being updated. Just think about it. Why would AJ need to come inside the game and update it? They could update it without borrowing the item
5. The " my trading system is broken" scam. Here is an example: A friend of yours visits you and says I would like to trade you my 2 worns for your headdress. But in 2nd thought they say Opps looks like my trading isn't working, can you send me your headdress and I will send you my 2 worns. They will run away once you send the get it.
6. The decline scam. This is a really common scam along with the sending scam. Here is an example: A jammer in Mount. Shiveer says Trade me I decline, try me and has a lousy item on trade such as a store necklace. You trade them a rare and they accept and run away,
